Is it worth buying real estate in boise, iaho?

I am moving to Boise. ID soon and saw that the real-estate homes etc here is much cheaper and so is the cost of living. But do you think its worth buying a house here if you plan to stay long term. Does it get appreciated much..or would you be stuck with something?

If you are going to stay there it is worth buying rather than renting.

It is always better to buy than rent,most times it is cheaper to and at the end you have a investment,so i say yes to your question it is better to buy than rent.
