The SD-DVD version will be released and available to buy in Australia in November for less than $100.00.

  1. The episodes are being remastered in high-definition, and indeed the first season was released on HD-DVD before that format was rejected.  It seems likely that TOS-R will be released in HD on BluRay within the next few years, therefore I would recommend holding off on purchasing the standard definition set.
