Is it worth converting HDMI to Components for ps3?

Is it worth while converting HDMI or to components for ps3 or is it s little difference? I was wondering because i think my tv cant hold HDMI So is it worth spending the extra money and converting it to HDMI?

first off you cannot covert component to hdmi, one is analog while the other is encrypted digital. second, if your tv does have hdmi then you simply need a normal hdmi cable to hook it up to the back of the ps3. if your tv has component then use the component to ps3 cable. anything else (s-video or somposite) is standard def.
