I have currently 3 years of Industry experience and currently working as a contractor for Managed Web hosting company.

I gave my GRE this year. Got calls from University of Southern California Arizona State university(MS in Computer Studies) and Oregon State university.

Now my doubt is which university should I join, I am inclined toward joining USC because of its being high ranked. However I just wanted to ask whether its high fees is worth it or not?

  1. Talk to current studetns in USC.

ITs expensive and you will not get Aid. You will have to pay 100% of the expenses.

You will find part time job for $500 per month.

  2. I'm not sure what you mean when you say you got calls from there schools.  Do you mean that you applied to and was accepted at USC, ASU and OSU?

If you live in Arizona or Oregon, you'd save a lot of money by going to your in-state public school.  OSU tends to have a pretty good reputation for engineering/computer science.  In picking a school, you need to find out about the program: what do they specialize in, and is that what you want to learn?  If you find that USC offers things that the others do not, then go ahead.

  3. USC is way better than the other two, if you're going to go to school it's def the one you want to go to. ASU isn't that great and I don't know much about Oregon, but live in LA when you have the chance! haha
