Is it worth filing a wrongful termination suit against a large company?

  1. Depends on why you were fired. Some states have "at will employment" to where you can get fired for no reason. The best thing for you to do is to file unemployment against them. They have to pay it & at least you aren't losing money. Lawsuits against employers that are pretty big can usually drag it out over time, or you will just lose because of their big legal department - if you are ready to spend money on a lawyer, you need to go into their office with proof that it was wrongful termination & then they will give you their best opinion, but remember if they hesitate & then say yes, that usually means that they are saying "sure i'll do it, it's your money!"

  2. Its really hard to prove.  If you can prove it then it may be, but its an uphill fight (they can just say they fired you because they didn't like you).  You could check with a lawyer and see if they think you have a case.
