Is it worth getting amazon's 2 year service plan for a juicer?

  2. For a kitchen appliance priced less than $100, I'd recommend just using the manufacturer's warranty, which is usually 90 days.

    For appliances, electronics or other purchases higher than $300, I'd consider a price comparison of Amazon's extended warranty vs. Squaretrade's offer. One other factor to consider is how difficult the repair/replacement plan has been for other buyers. Check the reviews for that specific product before you commit.

  3. unless it is a big money item like a car, I opt not to get extended warranties.  It is a waste of money. For example, I would ask myself if something happens to this juicer can I just go back and buy another one to replace it?  If the answer is no, then ok I might consider the ext. warranty but that is just me.

  4. get a jack lalanne juicer. he has a website.

  5. No, that is just a big money maker for them.  You are better off taking your chances and saving the money...trust me.  I could go on about this, but a simple answer is: forget the extended warranty/service plan, you probably won't need it.
