Is it worth going to the U.S.M.C?

I'm 14 and I really am thinking about joining the marines or Army when i get older. But the only thing that holds me me back is.....if its worth dieing for

Only you can answer that sweetie. My man has been in the USMC for 17 years, and to him, it would definitely be worth it. He enlisted to serve his country, and that is what he is doing.

I believe it is noble because you are thinking about joining the military.  The is it worth dying for question is one only you can answer.  There are some benefits to joining the military. (ie job skills, education benefits, travel opportunities).  Only you know if these benefits outweigh the drawbacks.  Good luck!!!!!!

Well how much do you love your country and its people, are you willing to die for it if thats what is required? Just because you go in doesn't mean your gonna die; its not "suicide" as some people call it.
