  1. Yes..but make sure you get proper training on use and safety..I have shot at someone breaking in and they didn't believe me that I had a gun....I was able to change some guys mind who tried to get in the car while stopped at a red light.

After these 2 incidents...I can safely say that the police are second responders.

  2. If you are so indecisive you should not have a weapon.  You need to learn how to use a weapon and have a long discussion with yourself about whether you would use a weapon.

Unless you live in a jungle a machete won't be much help.

  3. Everybody else already has a gun.  If you don't have yours yet I suggest you get it and get someone to teach you how and when to use it.  Not because the end of the world is near but, everybody needs to be armed to deter the criminal element.

  4. This is a violent country with all sorts of crime being committed in our own back yard.  I believe that the right of bear arms preserves our rights of defending ourselves, foreign and domestic .  That is because I am bi that swing both ways, 'bipartisan' that is!  A liberal-conservative (I know, oxymoron!)  Okay I'm being stupid!

Anyways, if you are speaking terms that are the boundaries of the biblical Armageddon (The Battle of Megiddo), there will be chaos and worst cast scenerio unimaginable that we cannot fathom in our human existence; and you want to arm yourself with a machete?  The Four Horsemen are going to bring war of destruction, famine, pestilence, and the stinch of death among millions, if not, billions.

I think I will be having me an arsenal of weapons, food, and water!  There will be thousands of others wanting to horde my precious cache!  I, for one will not execute myself in accepting bread to feed my family from the man who proclaims to bring peace to all humanity by uniting all the countries as one, the Anti-Christ!  The only mark of the beast that I will bear is the "Mark of the Devil Dog", my Eagle, Globe and Anchor!

Even if that is only years away (for those who believe that 2012 jargon-I don't, the Lord's Judgment will be a surprise, not a set date for everyone to know), it is allowed by law to have a militia, don't be afraid to exercise your 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights that Our Forefathers have envisioned.  Me and every other servicemember have sacrificed our freedom and lives for you to 'hold a stock pile like a militia'!

If you care about your family's safety, DO NOT bring a knife to a gunfight, Crocodile Dundee!  If me and you were to do the duel like the ole' English way, and you bring a knife; it better be a K-bar!  Or else I would have to arm you with a M1911 .45-cal just as I would be carrying, I'll give you mine extra sidearm even!  It is only fair!  If an assailant were to be a sexual predator, what would you, as a woman, choose to maim your attacker.  If I were a woman, I wouldn't let that sucker see the next light of day!

  5. My answer is;

You should know How to protect yourself. I not saying run out and by a gun/weapon but go to a range and take a class. Learning how something works in case of emergency. Knowelge, will save your life.

  6. Get a gun and alot of training and use it at a range every few months a gun is only as good as the person that uses it then if you have kids or if your going to have some keep it out of there reach maby keep it locked till night and when there old enough get them gun safety training

  7. I do not envy women..... much of their life they have to live in fear..... keep looking over their shoulder.... plan their life around not being vulnerable..... not a nice way to live.

I do not believe there will ever be any "apocalyptic ****"..... but you do need a level of safety..... the tools are up to you but do not think a "gun" is the easy solution..... many people get killed with their own gun.....it takes considerable planning and training to use a gun properly

....even then shooting someone is a horrible experience..... it is not like in the movies.....there is blood..... the victim usually loses control of their bladder and bowels....there is the screaming in pain..... and what if it is a mistake......victims stay dead a long time

Then there is the problem of access.....will you carry it all the time.....how will you store it safely....how will you get to it in time.... can you even hit the target.....

Consider pepper spray.....Mace......tazers... martial arts.... or all of them

Any weapon you chose you will need to be trained and FULLY ready to use it.... ANYTHING can be a weapon...... I use to use a rolled up magazine ( Life).....tightly rolled it is an excellent weapon.... maybe a comprehensive self defense course would ease your mind..... it would not only give you some security.....some self confidence but it would improve your fitness also

  8. There is a reason why the right to bear arms is the second amendment.

  9. i believe everyone should have a gun except criminals
