Is it worth holding out for a last minute deal to Goa?

We have our visas and we only want to stay in 1/ 2 star b& b accomodation. We want to go on Feb 16th - which at the moment is more expensive than the week later!

I was wondering if prices come down at all like other package holidays does anyone know - or should I just bite the bullet and book rather than risk the hols selling out or actually going up in price?
