my friend owns a burger restaurant and she's always used the method of writing down the order on paper and giving it to the chefs. she says that this can sometimes take up too much time but would it be worth buying on of those registers that electronically send the order to the kitchen if the business is not TOO busy all the time?

  1. Its not worth it.

I too work in a small fast food restraunt we still write down all of our orders..

Think of it this way,  sit down restraunts write orders down. So I dont see how its a big deal.

  2. It's not worth it unless the restaurant is always busy.  If that method takes too much time then maybe the restaurant doesn't have a lot of customers because the service is slow.

  3. Not worth it - until the turn over picks up....
