  1. in cycling like everything else you get what you pay for.  first step is to decide what you are going to use it for.  if you're not a big cyclist and are just getting into the sport, maybe get a cheaper (but not too cheap!) bike to start, see if you like it and use it, and then upgrade at a later date.  the most important thing is to maintain your bike, no matter what the quality.  proper tire pressure, brake alignment, keep chain and moving parts oiled, etc.  NEVER leave it out in the rain (or if it does get wet, especially sand or road dirt in the gears) you should hose it off and then replace all the oil and grease before the metal rusts.  you will find a difference with a better bike though, gear changes are smoother, braking is more effective, the feel is often better and in some cases more comfortable. make sure the bike fits you as well--many bike stores will do a fitting to make sure you get the right size.  unfortunately i can't tell you whether you should spend the money or not--that is up to you!  :-)

  2. Cheap is really the way to go.

Don't waste your money on Fuji, it's overrated

  3. go with the fuji bro.

you obviously want it, you wont be happy with less.

save up some $$ and ride free

  4. they are all made by chinese slave labor

  5. I've had my Fuji for quite a while and love it.  It has required less maintenance than the Treks my daughters got.  And it didn't cost much more.

  6. it depends if you have the money and if you are good at riding a bike, cycling

if you are and you are ready buy one

don't buy it if you need the money badly to feed yourself

    fuji probably overrated
