Is it worth it to be a Armed Guard ?

Im a normal Security guard making 12.20 hr.... I want to be a armed guard ... but I keep hearing that alot of Armored Guards (The ones collecting money) make 11 or 10 a hr. Do other Armed Guards or Armored Guards make more?

It really depends on where you live.  In larger cities it's better to be an Armored Guard, but for more rural areas it is better to be a regular security guard.
