Is it worth it to buy extended warranty for lcd tv?

I just bought a 46 lcd tv, i don't know if it's worth it to buy the extended warranty for it or not. thanks

A CHEAP no-name LCD Panel TV set.....YES !

A Sony or Mitsubishi or other brand that has been in business over 20 years....

NO (well if the warranty is inexpensive like NEW warranties are....then YES)

So it really depends what brand you bought....

UH OH ......fatherof1....that means you have a LITTLE KID I'll bet....

Did you know that LITTLE KIDS can destroy LCD panels?

They throw something, or whack it with their hands and the LCD panel just SHATTERS...

And it costs as much as the TV set to repair it.....

Go to your local lumberyard/hardware store and purchase some velcro tape and a piece of LEXAN to cover the panel, put the velcro around the edge of the lexan and gently press it on to cover the display panel....

Add a couple inches to the size to make sure it doesn't get stuck to a rounded or angled surface or the LCD panel ....
