Is it worth it to get Maternity Insurance or should I just depend on Medicaid?

I've heard that Medicaid will cover the same things as Maternity Insurance, without having to pay huge premiums for a least 12 months before having a child, but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience.

Medicaid allows you to go to just about any doctor you want to without the stress of having to deal with any bills related to the prenatal care and birth of the baby.  When I first reviewed my options I honestly didn't like the idea but after getting on the program I have learned it is the one of the best decisions I have made.
