Is it worth it to get a Lexus before college? ?

My dad told me that he would buy me a Lexus around the end of my junior year of high school, he said that he would buy me one that is about 2 or 3 years old. So i would have it for senior year and then be going off to college. Depending on the college i'd be going to to would let me drive it freshman year i would have it then. How long it take for it to get old? Should I wait until after college to get one? I'm really confused, what should I do?

What difference does college or when you get it make? A Lexus is a great car that lasts far past 100,000 miles. I am still driving my '96 and loving every minute of it and it still looks great and never gives me trouble. Next time I buy I will try to get a used Lex.
