Is it worth it to go to Spago while in Hollywood?

Funny the guy above mentioned Mozza, that's what I would recommend above Spago...the food is amazing! There is a pizzeria and an osteria, the osteria is the fancier one.  Happy Anniversary and have FUN!

I think Spago is nice, but I would go many other places first in my opinion.  Check out Kate Mantillini in Beverly Hills.. OUT OF THIS WORLD FOOD!!  Great atmosphere, great drinks, great service..

Spago is in Beverly Hills not Hollywood.  If you're on the hunt for a good restaurant, you ought to go. It's not the best restaurant in the world but it's good and fun people watching! Make a reservation and request a table on the patio.

I think you can have a great experience there, but I would recommend CUT, Sona, or Mozza over Spago. Check out pics on Yelp.

I had a very nice experience there. Good food, service, and table. But I had a friend who was treated very rudely when he went. O fcourse he was young at the time, and unfortunately, I think a lot of restaurants aren't as nice to their younger patrons as their older, wealthier ones. I think it's a toss up. I'd say that if you go, make sure to mention on the phone that it's your anniversary, and you'd like a good table. It's a fun place!

The orignal Spago was in Hollywood overlooking Sunset Blvd.  It's now located in Beverly Hills.  If you want a different take on Wolfgang's restaurants, one of my favorites is Chinois on Main.  Wonderful french-chinese  without the pretense of a Spago.  And still catch a celeb now and then there.
