Is it worth it to make arounds 25,000 pounds in London or should i go to glasgow?

Ive been getting alot of negative answers about earning this in london of ppl saying its not enough, which i dont understand so if lots dont even make this amount and im only starting off. I Love london unfortunately lots of pessemists seem to think its not worth even beggining at 25,000 pounds. Im fom toronto and there simply arent any jobs here, i know theres lots of competition in london but toronto has everyone in the world trying for jobs. So now my delimna is should i settle for Glasgow at this amount as my whole family is there. Any advice is welcomed.

JUST GO FOR IT, DON'T HOLD BACK, AS JOBS R HARD TO GET IN LONDON ANYWAY, IF I HAD A CHOICE I WOULD PICK LONDON BEFORE GLASGOW, BUT I DO LIKE SCOTTISH PEOPLE THOUGH.

Definately come to Scotland, That amount is enough to live on and us Scots are a friendly bunch. Scotland is a great place to live and your family are here!

You wouldn't be able to live in London on that amount. I'm from Scotland but have lived near London so I know you would be far better off if you opt for Glasgow. People in Scotland are much friendlier too.

Nooo, don't come to London...it's crowded enough as it it.  Go to Glasgow.  Glasgow's great.

So, just so I understand...your family is in Glasgow...and you want to work in London...and you live in Toronto...don't get on with the folks then? There is a whole lot of distance between London and Glasgow, why not check out something in between....What job are you looking for?  Housing is so expensive in London which is why I suspect people are being negative.  Prices more sensible in Scotland...especially outside Glasgow...30 mins commute and you can find reasonable housing...cast your net a bit wider.

It will go a lot further in Glasgow but if you flat share in London you will get by
