Is it worth it to rebuild a 1993 trans am with 105k miles on it while the engine is pulled and how much?

  2. It's hardly ever a good idea to rebuild an engine. It's cheaper and safer to replace it with a factory longblock from Autozone or somewhere.

    About $1600 for the engine a a grand labor.
