Question:

Is it worth keeping Sports Illustrateds that I've kept lying around for the past few years?

I have Sports Illustrateds dating back to 2001, most of them from the whole year. Are they worth anything now? I think I might keep the ones from the Superbowls, and probably the Red Sox winning the World Series, but besides that, are they worth holding on to? Can I get any monetary amount from them in the future?

  1. Dude, it's paper with printer ink on it.  Keep the important stuff like you stated and if there's something that you want to keep cut it out and put it in a picture book.

  2. Yeah, why not. I don't think it will be worth anything now, but in like 23 years, when it is 30 years old, it will be cool to have and probably worth something. I mean, It's 2008, wouldn't it be cool to have magazines from 1978? Put them in a box, and put the box in your attic or something, even if they just wow your kids in years to come, they are worth saving

  3. Throw it away!!! Trust me it won't be worth anything.  We traveled around the country toting boxes of Sports Illustrated

magz...and they weigh a ton.  I finally talked my hubby into selling or donating them-noone wanted them.  So  I threw them all away-after all that.  Just throw it away.
