Is it worth putting things up for sell on ebay?

Question

I keep hearing tons of horror stories about normal people trying to sell things on ebay and end up getting extorted or just plain ripped off.

i.e., buyers pretending they never got the product and ebay sides with them easily

I'm just thinking about selling a $20 DS game, but if this is going to be a huge hassle I might as well just trade it in for $11 at ebgames.

no it's not worth the hasslel because you can't always trust were you'r money is going and too whom it's going its called online scamming and they all do it so be smart and try a diffrent avenue.

Go for the $11 dollars it's much less of a hassle.

Well you are protected somewhat with paypal and ebay.  But its not as bad as you are thinking.  I am selling this item right now and have sold many more like it and haven't had a problem.  Honestly I would say its not worth the gain of 9 dollars to go through and list it but if you have other things to sell on there then I would say go for it.

if you are selling one item,,it is not worth it...if you are going to sell a lot of things over time it is worth it.......e-bay has a tutorial for sellers..read it
