  1. Yes. A pretty good book... It provides in perspective of the human mind and nature. Although the author does take things quite objectively, it does carry some insight into the potential realities cast over myriads of human beings. You should read it and decide for yourself if you like the book.

  2. is it something you wrote or wat is it?

  3. It sounds okay. It's actually about a kid who has Asperger syndrome, which means he is normal exept for having some social problems. I have a friend that has Asperger. Hes my age and hes in my grade.

  4. Yes, it's worth reading about Christopher. It's worth reading any good book, but reading about a person who has a disability one does not have, and a disability one is not very familiar with, is especially 'worthy' reading, because the author of such a book has opened up a new way of looking at life for us... a new way of thinking for many people.

A book like The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a winner, because it shows readers what it's like to be Christopher and what it's like to know him. One day or another, you and I will be exposed to people with autism and other disabilities, and books like this one make it a better experience for us whenever that happens. It has happened many times for me, and if it hasn't yet for you, it will.

This book and, for example, The Miracle Worker about Helen Keller (blind, deaf, mute) and her teacher, or the books Helen Keller has written herself... or, for another example, the book One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest... a great many books enlarge our understanding of people who otherwise have a very hard time (or no time) making themselves understood on their own.

We need that kind of understanding to be compassionate people... to be kind. Even people with such disabilities have thoughts and feelings, you know? I think you know what I mean. Yes, it's worth reading.

  5. Any book is always worth reading, even if you decide later that you don't like it. How can you expand your mind without forming your own opinions on books?

That said, The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Nighttime is supposed to be a good book. I've seen some good reviews for it.
