It depends if you like the tropical weather, beaches and humidity. I for myself say that living in hawaii is worth the money.

I guess that would depend on how much money, and if you like the tropical weather, difficult traffic (most places), and which island.  Compared to what other choice.

You will have no option to drive very far or to enjoy certain things (theme parks, major league sports, etc.)
