Is it worth while buying a brand NEW 2008 Mazda Mazda3?

We were offered $600 under invoice for this car. The 2009 Mazda Mazda3s are just now coming out.

How about someone with relevant answers? She is asking if it is worthwhile to buy a car under blue book if its the current model year but not for long.

My answer is buy it if the dealer is giving you a deal.

cars should be getting 60 MPG these days and there not worth buying you should wait until they make a car that makes sense to own in todays times.  The price of gas is only going to go up more next year it will be $5 to $6 a gallon

i'm in the midst of buying a mazda cx-7 now and the dealer said that mazda isnt changing their cars till 2010 so that 08 will look exactly the same as the 09.

and you will be getting a better deal on the 08 too.

No way.

If you plan on driving it for about 2 years, then you should get it.

That car will leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

You would be much better off with an Accord

you should buy something used. for so much cheaper you can get something so much better. im sure the price of that car can get you a rare edition sports car aka 3000gt vr-4.
