Is it worthwhile doing MS outside India and then coming back to India to work?

My dilemma is that I would like to do my MS is computer science outside India (mostly US), but wouldn't really want to work outside India for long. Now what sort of jobs can I expect when I come back to India? Does it justify the huge costs incurred in doing the course? What are your thoughts?

  1. Yes, it is worthwhile. Your country needs you. Why contribute to the brain drain?

Another question: who paid those huge costs? Your parents? Then you should consult them about this decision. They have a right to some input about whether the cost is justified. My guess is that they would rather have you return than follow you to the US.

  2. Ya...certainly

  3. see it is better if you gain some money  before you come back in india also the cost required for MS in first year is 10 lakh almost but in the second year you are able to earn some money from part time job so dont worry about financial aid it willl better if you go US for MS

  4. Well.. I will suggest to work their for atleast 2 years. Collect some bucks and then come back to India.

Well.. you have option to work their in US as you are completing your MS. The same collage / university gives u the option to work.

After MS U can even join company with less efforts to get VISA.
