Is it wrong for a 12-13 year old girl to sit on her fathers lap?

Is that wrong? If it isn't in a sexual way and they are just sitting talking or watching tv or something is that wrong? Why do people think it is?

  3. your on some grey unsteady ground with this one. there are two arguments the first is that it is her father and it shouldn't matter. the other is that it is inappropriate for a girl that age to be sitting on anyones lap because father or not young female body is a turn on. and you may have the gut tightening feeling of disgust at that but it is a fact that most rapes and molestations are by family members. i would say that the best thing to do even if they are close is to not behave in a way that would make your daughter a target for abuse meaning keeping personal space between her and anything with a p***s and a pulse. and i know that it is hard to imagine how someone you trust might be that perveted but people thinking that is why i lived with a rapist for 4 years.

No its not wrong what so ever, but it all depends on the relationship with ur father as well, i mean if ur bringing up the situation and the fact that its not sexual, for some reason it might even be sexual for a minute, is on your mind? a guilty conscious maybe? Maybe your realizing that your to grown for it now. who knows
