Is it wrong for me to like maths?

everyone at school thinks im a total nerd because i really enjoy maths...

i jsut understand it :)

and i always help people that dont

i donno what do you think?

Not at all,it is not wrong. i even wish i had a friend like u and u will help me out, i enjoy maths too.

It is not wrong for you to like maths. I like maths too, it makes more sense than the other courses as it is very black and white. I hate to "swim" in a grey area, if you know what I mean.

Don't worry about the people who thinks that you are a total nerd, because if you are not there for them, who else is going to help them understand maths? and really, they should be thankful that you are helping them.

Nah its not wrong at all. usually things like maths n science etc are hard to grasp and so people cannot understand why anyone would like doing it so much. most ppl would be jelous of your skill and understanding of the subject. i know from my own experience that i would have killed to have someone in my class who actually knew what they were doin so they could help ppl like me. everyone has  different things they like and different strengths. dont let ppl get to you. continue doin wat u do best....coz how u feel is all that matters.

There is nothing wrong with liking math.  And there is nothing wrong with being a nerd.  These days most people end up working for those who were nerds in school.

For some odd reason, teenagers still favor jocks, but the reality is that nerds are better able to suceed in the world.  We are no longer dependent on strength for our survival.  We are dependent on knowledge and intelligence.  

And math is the basis for understanding our universe.  It is never a waste of time.  And your ability to explain math to others will provide you with a perfect part time job for college.

I also like maths.

And, in the other hand, what if the one who thinks you are a nerd likes English, Science or Mother Tongue? So, they shouldn't call you that. Report to your teacher for bullying if you get sick of it. He-he.
