  1. If your parents aprove I don't see anything wrong with it.

  2. Texas Hold em is filled with math, such as probabilities and statistics, percentages, ect.  Maybe he is using a hands on type method to help you better understand math.

  3. You need to provide more information if you want a relevant response.

    Like: How old are you?

    Are you playing for money?

is he teaching you this at school?

  4. technically it's ok

but just don't get caught by an administrator because gambling is a serious offense and could result in suspension

  5. No

  6. I don't see the big deal, He's still teaching you something and it's not like hes taking your lunch money.

If you have a problem with it then explain to him that you're uncomfortable with it. Remember teachers are people too and they're not all old angry white ladies out to follow every single rule in the book.

  7. no way hes a awsome teacher if he does, he probobly gambles in veagas on his breaks so take his advice and become a wealthy gambler!!!

  8. poker, and other gambling games are not easy to win and you have to be a mastermind to play. he probably wanted to help you in math. Playing poker and texas hold 'em like the first answer says has lots of lessons such as probabilty and it probably will help you with math good luck.
