Nah, I actually am bored with it now that the swimming and gymnastics events I like are over, but am trying to get into the things now too. I'm a bit bummed they're going to be over, can't believe it'll be 4 years until the next ones! (Summer games anyways!) But no, I don't judge you for it. The media has been obsessed with Michael Phelps, (Who I love lol) Shawn Johnson and others so I know many want a break from that. We all have different tastes, they're what makes the world go round!

No the olympics are just all countries all over the world coming together and competing against each other to get bragging rights. i never really paid attention the olympics until now. Maybe becuase I was really young at the time and couldn't comprehend what was going on.

No, I'm finding I watch them less and less each time they are on every four years. About the only thing I've found halfway interesting this time were the men's and women's triathlon. I've never really seen one of those from start to finish.

If your patriotism is based on your country winning everything in the the olympics,  you know nothing about patriotism.  I think you are more in the vein of Nationalism.
