  1. lol!!!

  2. nah, it builds character. They need to learn how to lose every now and then. So what if they pout and get mad life isn't all about winning and you'll not always get the job or the win you want! Beat away!

  3. Ha very funny...I say open a can of whoop a** on 'em!!

  4. No. If you let them win all the time all you would be doing is wasting their time. Being beat at games encourages kids to try harder the next time.Life isn't just handed to you. You have to learn to deal with a problem and solve it not wait till "mom" fixes it for you.You kids may be upset at you for it now but latter in life they will thank you for the lesson.

  5. OMG!!! ROFL!!! Just so you know he doesn't mean "beat" like hit his kids, he means win against them!!!

I think that if they are 6 or older it is good to because they need to learn how not to be sore losers otherwise they will have trouble when they are older losing stuff.

  6. geesh some of these answers! LOL

  7. LMAO, I came in here ready to report you... then I laughed. No, it's not wrong, but depending on their ages, you might want to let them win once in a while ;)

  8. Nope!  It teaches them that life's not fair at an early age.

    Let the beatings continue!

  9. What the fu*k? You don't beat your kids after playing a board game. The worst my dad ever did to me when I used to beat him was call me a cheater, and he was SARCASTIC!!!!

  10. Yes it is. Now if it was Candyland now, I'd say, beat away.

  11. Just wrong, what an aweful parent ;)

  12. Only if they are cheating............

  13. omg rotflmao

  14. you had me there lol but let them win!

  15. It depends how old they are

if they young let them win they get a good feeling of success,

But if there older than  8 then they need to learn how to cope with losing  so they dont get upset at school wen they play.

    Hope this helps x

  16. Is this a joke?

  17. If your question is: is it wrong that I win against my kids when we play chutes and ladders? then the answer is not really

If your question is: is it wrong that I physically beat my kids when we play shoots and ladders? then the answer is yes

  18. No not at all.  If it gets to the point where you shouldn't have to let them win (as others have said, when they are older) i don't know if they will be too interested in board games.  If they move onto more challenging hobbies and games and have never experienced losing, it is going to be harder than them.  But also considering that you are an adult and your child...well a child, he can always justify his losses because you are older, bigger, smarter, etc.   He or She should experience loss to a peer.  I had heard in one of my psychology classes that men who grew up in the nuclear family age succeeded more in business because of their experiences in sports.  To succeed you have to be able to recover yourself from failure.

  19. Why would this be wrong?  It teaches the child different things.  By the way you should let your child win as well!

  20. yes

  21. Never let your kids win a game because if you do they will be the first ones mad or crying when they team losses.

  22. How long did it take to think of a funny question to ask?  Someone has too much time on their hands.  :P  But no it's ok if you win at chutes and ladders.

  23. no, but you should let them win sometimes

  24. YES! YOU SHOULD HAVE CPS CALLED ON YOU!

    Just kidding

  25. No, it's good for them to be challenged and to learn that they aren't always going to win.

  26. LOL, good one
