Ok, so i just recently graduated hight school, and have got a full time job, I make about $700.00 more than my mom does a paycheck. My mom has been working at a dead end job making 8.25 an hour for about 16 years now and some weeks she dosnt even get 40 hours in. She has no benefits no health care or anything, my grandfather had been helping her out all my life ever since i was little he would pay our rent, buy food, buy a car for us when ours broke down, pay for gas ect. Since i have graduated from school he has stopped paying. And all the bills have come down on me. I have to pay my car payment and insurance, my gas plus hers, Food for us both, cable and sometimes the light bill. On top of that i have to pay 3/4 of our rent. My sister needs help sometimes so i also give her money because she has a baby to take care of. My mom brings home maybe if she is lucky 350 $ every two weeks because of collectors. Now my question is I'm I a bad son because i just want to move out?

  1. Your grandpa probably didn't want to support you guys either but he didn't. No you shouldn't have to but you need to.

I am only 16 and I pay my own car payment, insurance, gas, groceries, cell phone, personal care item (laundry soap to toothpaste), and clothes.
