Is it wrong to ask controversial questions on Y!A ...?

Question

in order to preserve unity of the Muslims? I wouldn't want bloodshed, but I also want my questions answered. What can I do to get such questions answered with out creating a controversy?

brother....i'd suggest you forget about Y!A n talk to an imam......because a good amount of brothers n sisters in this section are awesome at stooping down to the lowest level of manners n ikhlaaq when theres a controversial subject being discussed

Its either you being offensive  or some people being too touchy either way you can do your bit by stating your question in a manner which people will recognise to be a question not an insult. Also please can you check your sources if you use any and tell us the validity of them eitherwise it is gonna be very CONTROVERSIAL LOl
