  1. ok its not right to do that cause it is technically stealing but it doesnt hurt the company much cause soda doesnt cost that much. BUT it also isnt right for the manager to threaten your lives. He should realize that could turn into a lawsuit. But its not right. Instead, next time, just buy the soda and than stick your head under the faucet lmao

  2. haha yeah, but I do it allll the time. s***w them, most of the people that work at the one by me act like a**holes anyway....shoulda thrown it on him!

  3. He threatened your lives over a cup of soda? He's the one with the bigger problem. Many people choose to do this. Some do it just because they can and others because they can't afford the soda. Either way, it's wrong and depending on each person's conscience they'll deal with it in the end. Even the people who it doesn't bother mentally will end up paying for it one way or another. I wouldn't do it but I also wouldn't worry too much about it. Just don't do it again.

  4. stealing soda is wrong, but so was him threatening your lives!

but for the record-it doesn't even cost taco bell more than 25 cents for what they charge close to $2.00 for a soda.

i think taco bell has a 1-800 number to call when you have a bad experience. lol

  5. That is theft. You know that syrup costs money to buy.

When the rates go up remember the dollars you stole so they had to buy more syrup for the paying customer.

  6. Ya its considered stealing... I think what you were doing was just abusing the loophole. Instead of buying a cup and filling your drink from the cup you bought you instead got a cup of water for free and filled it with soda.

Some people these days abuse the loopholes. Like going to the movies buying tickets for your friends and swapping tickets so that you can go to customer service and get your money back and go back to watching the movie you paid for.

These loopholes makes everyone who abuses it scam artists. Heck, there are sites that give people loopholes so they can abuse it.

The only thing with this is that it hurts the community and the economy.

P.S. The manager should of expelled you and your friends.

  7. lol, yes it's wrong, cause it's stealing.   Dont do it again, if you want to stay alive.

Oh, and avoid that manager.  he sounds scary.

  8. Well, given that it's technically stealing... yes.

  9. It is not ethical to steal. It doesn't matter how big the company is, or how much profit they make - you are a thief. How did you expect to be treated once you stole?

This does not condone the manager's reaction, but...you were the cause...

  10. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. uh,yeah its being dishonest

  12. yes because water is free and soda isn't, so you,re stealing.

  13. Wrong is wrong....

  14. Of course it's wrong. It's theft.

  15. That is illegal to get pop instead of water, but the manager didn't need to threaten your lives

  16. The fact that you have to ask this question at all is wrong.

  17. no unless you get caught

but you can buy a cup of soda at taco bell and then go and fill the cup up with water, then threaten the life of the manager and say your sprite taste like water and it doesnt have bubles in it!!!!

  18. oh yeah, like asking for a ride and taking the car.

  19. um...yeah, you already know it is, just buy a soda or just drink the water. and it's not so bad an offense to threaten your lives, the manager sounds like he/she was on a power trip. if thats the worst thing you do then you seem like a good guy.

  20. Yes, it's wrong, but not worthy of the death penalty.

  21. nope it's not wrong this past june my friends quincey nicole tabatha and i asked for cups to get water but instead we got soda. we had a free personal pan pizza coupon so we got that too. Oh and it was at Pizza Hut i forgot to add that.

  22. it's called stealing

  23. Ha yes lol it is wrong

but I used to do that too

  24. Uh yea its called telling lies.... Its not honest and it could be considered as stealing.

  25. Of course, it's wrong.  That's the same thing as theft.  You are supposed to pay for what you get.  If you can't pay for the soda, then just drink water!  Death penalty?  I don't think so.  That's a little harsh!

  26. You have the right to remain silent.  Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law..

  27. It's petty more than it's wrong. I mean, how much do they charge for a small soda? Like $1, and you can stuff yourself for under $5 with a drink.

He threatened your lives? If that happens, you should call 1-800-TACO-BELL

Let them know that you made a mistake and you are concerned for your life now that the manager has threatened you. You can also let them know you are afraid to eat there now for fear of poisoning.

  28. No it's totally okay.

What you did is you took a bite out of the big corporate industry.  That soda sit's there and ferments and if my friends and i want to endulge in a little "FREE"  soda who are they to say no.   Is their names written on the machine???  No it says coke or pepsi so your stealing from them and since they don't have anyone there to make sure people don't steal then it's okay for you do drink the free liquids

I have some more free liquids for you if you want.

  29. yes it is wrong.

    it is stealing!

    Surely you already knew that!

  30. well, yea it's wrong, but it's only because it unfair to the people in the drive thru...haha
