If you're talking about mentally/emotionally: I think that depends. Most people assume being strong through bad situations may mean to ignore them, not let them bother you, or something of that sort. However, being in denial is never a good idea. Therefore, it is wrong to be strong at times, if you don't have a true understanding of what being strong is.
