Is it wrong to be talking to someone you meet online? ?

Question

I don't want to necessarily meet up with him, i mean he lives across the country. Maybe at some point i would. But i truly think he's a real person. I've seen his music myspace, his own myspace, and his facebook. At first he asked for my number and i said "maybe" and then we kept talking online and eventually i was like "okay well i'm gunna go here is my number, you can text me" I don't give him any personal information besides the state i live in. What do you think?

No its not wrong if you actually trust him and he is who he says he is. I've given my number to people i've talked to online to text or just to talk once in a while. I've been talking to two people i met online for over a year now. Oh and by the way, someone can figure out about where you live just from your phone number. good luck and have fun talking.

I think it is a little risky so if you want to be friends be strictly computer friends only! How old are you? That makes a difference! And from now on with anyone else you talk to online don't even tell them the state you live in. Creeps can track you down easier that way.
