Is it wrong to buy used knickers?

I think in Japan it is very popular. I can see the temptation but have resisted picking them up when my housemate left hers lying around the bathroom.

To all those who wouldn't buy used knickers, I bet you would buy a second hand tooth brush!

It is a matter of personal tastes, I suppose. Never haven worn someone else's old pants, I can't say I would want to. On the other hand, I did buy a pair of pyjama bottoms from a charity shop (perfectly clean) and never thought a thing about it.

For some reason, though, used knickers just seem less sanitary.

I would buy second hand skirts and trousers and tshirts and jumpers but never second hand underwear nor shoes...x

I work in a resale shop and people buy them all the time! It seems a little icky to me though.

Eww! Icky!!! No, I don't think you should buy used underpants. You don't know for sure what's gone on in them....

Buy or steal? They're not allowed to be sold on ebay, and you're most unlikely to find any in a charity or second hand clothes shop, so goodness knows where you'd go to buy them? Japan, presumably.

Why should it be wrong if it isn't hurting anyone, it might not be very wise on the hygiene side though.

It's okay to buy used knickers, if you clean them. if however you couldn't bring yourself to buy them and let alone wear them, I won't blame you, I wouldn't be able to wear second-hand underwear either.

Not everyone can afford new things, so, that's why some people buy used things in perfect condition.

Oh God! I abhor that idea. Knicker is such an intimate garment that you simply can not use someone else's. And it is not that costly that you have to use a used one.
