Sure like that idea better than these nuts that show up for jury duty and can't understand English. Called for jury duty once where the judge dismissed 10 different people because they wouldn't be able to be part of a jury due to the fact they didn't understand English nor in some cases speak it.

Is lying to a court wrong?  Bill Clinton says it's not. Besides if you want out of jury duty, pretend like you are so excited to be there. Let them know you have waited all your life to be on a jury. Tell them you want to write a book and you want to make a statement that will be left for history. Then, you won't be chosen

Edit:  I've served on a jury and it was a great experience.  It was also an honor to be part of the process.

If you do a good enough job, you just may find yourself escorted to a mental health facility.  A poor enough job will get you jailed for contempt of court.  There are better ways of evading.
