  1. stealing. ( even for a good cause) is still stealing....

  2. Give me your money and I will give it to charity. It will be OK.

  3. No I don't think it is, an example is when people 'buy' you a goat or a bag of manure for a third world country for your Christmas present.  It's you that is really giving (without your permission) but they get to feel good about it!

  4. That would depend a lot on how you came to have the money and why it was in your possession. Examples 1. you found money in the street and took it to police and when it was returned to you because no one claimed it you gave it to charity.  That is not wrong. 2. your boss trusted you to make a bank deposit and you put it in the Salvation Army kettle instead.  That is wrong because you were trusted with somone else's money to do a certain thing with it.   3.  You have money that was given you at Christmas and as a punishment your parent gives the money to a charity instead iof letting you spend it.   Legally that is not wrong because you and your money are under their control if you are a minor but it is probably not wise either because it is going to create more resentment that learning,   4.  Someone rips off a drug dealer and gives the money to drug rehab charity.  Still wrong because it is still stealing even tho it is stolen from a bad guy.   Can you see the principles here?   Something entrusted to a person to keep or use in a specific way should not be used in another way without the rightful owner's permission.    Taking something entrusted to you and using it for another purpose or disposing of it is legally called theft under trust and depending in the amount of money can be a felony.   Taking it a step further any charity that knowingly accepts money that the person did not have legal right to give is in very serious violation of a number of laws and could be shut down as a result depending in circumstances.   For the charity it would be both an ethical and legal violation to take a donation of money someone was not authorized to give.

  5. Instead of having a guilt factor of keeping 'wrong' money, which u feel doesn't belong to u, it is better to declare it to the government. That way you are not creating another cycle of 'wrong money' landing at 'right place'.

Do charity with your well-earned white money, it would give you gr8 pleasure & satisfaction.

  6. yes.
