I dont see it as a sin, however it depends on what you believe. If its something that will bother you or you dont want to do it than wait till your married.

Your friend is not a true friend and is being disrespectful and giving her opinion where it probably has not been asked.  What 2 consenting adults do is no ones business but there own.  Personally, I believe if 2 adults love each other making love is a beautiful expression of that love.  imo a sin is when one of two parties have done something illegal or that would be hurtful or offensive to the other person.  Here you 2 love each other and made love.  Problem?  Not for me.  I think with everything in the world that is going on if G-d sees 2 people in love, getting married agreeing to spend a lifetime married to one another making love as an expression of love--he would smile and think that you and your fiance make the world a better place.

Btw, imo your white dress is perfectly appropriate.  White is for purity and is a proper and beautiful expression of the purity of your love for one another.  Congratulations.

depends on your beliefs.  "Christians" think it's a sin.  

i always thought I'd wait until marriage, and my husband was willing to wait, but i made the decision not to.  BUT, he's the only guy I've dated, and i was 23, and a virgin, when we started dating.  he's 4 years older, and has had a few girlfriends before me.  it's a personal decision, but if you are over 18, and responsible, do what you want.  i think that teenagers are too irresponsible, and go jumping from bed to bed.  Hence the "am i pregnant?" questions....

wear white.  i did.  i didn't explode into flames....good for you.  make sure you are protecting yourselves until you want kids, though.  good luck, and don't listen to anyone else BUT yourselves.

I would not consider a grown woman that has s*x with one man a s**t. I do not think that it is a terrible sin but I am not religious. I do however think that you should reevaluate your friendship with this girl. Calling you a s**t is not something that a friend does. A friend shares how she feels but supports you regardless. Telling you that she thinks it is wrong is one thing, how she did it is another. Wearing a white wedding dress does not necessarily mean what it used to. If that is what you want to wear who is anyone to argue with you.

Im an irish catholic (you know how religious we can get!) Its silly to think that the all forgiving father would not forgive you for having s*x with the person you want to marry. Just do it already!! You wont regret it.... :)

Marriage is only the formal recognition of your love.

It's not a license to do so.  The moment you figured out that you loved each other you were married for all intents and purposes.

The ceremony and the paper, it's all just window dressings.

Does it matter what other people think? It sounds like both of you made a conscious decision to go ahead. There's no way to go back, so don't worry about what people think and don't worry if your decision was wrong, it won't help anything. Just live your life the best way you can. Don't worry about it dear. I am a very devout Christian but my husband and I ended up being together before we got married. I really feel no guilt about it because he is the only person I have ever been with, I still was pure for him just did it a little sooner than my mother would have preferred.

Don't plan on wearing a white wedding dress. If your religous and its stated to be a sin then its a sin. Most religions overlook it nowadays. h**l they have g*y pastors and such. Do you ever wonder how thats going to fly at the purly gates. Or when your getting a sermon from the dude knowing he probably just sucked **** the night before. LOL
