  1. it is one of the most cruel things to do to an animal. when fishermen catch sharks for shark fin soup, they cut of the 1 dorsal and 2 pectoral fins, and throw the finless shark back into the water. sharks can't swim without their fins, so they will just sink to the bottom. sharks also take a very long time to die, so it will suffer for hours and hours before it finally dies. it would be the equivalent of cutting someones arms and legs off, and just leaving them there like nothing happened. it is unimaginably cruel, and it should be illegal worldwide.

  2. yes and no because most times they only cut off the fin...btw shark fin soup is sooooooo good

  5. personally, i believe it is wrong to kill animals in general.

i do know that sharkfin soup is a delicacy in many places, but they catch the sharks, cut off their fins, and toss the sharks back into the ocean causing the sharks to drown and bleed into the ocean, thus, attracting more sharks only to repeat the process. i believe it is not humane, but you are entitiled to your opinion as well

  6. Most definitely! Sharks are endangered as well as our oceans. For the sake of future generations, don't buy shark fin soup.

  7. If you are only killing the sharks for the fin, and not using the rest of the meat, then yes it is wrong.
