Is it wrong to kill someone who has killed?

Do you believe in an eye for an eye. If someone killed one of your loved ones for no reason, do you think you have the right to kill them?

I don't think anything would give me the right to kill another living being (before you ask, no I don't kill spiders or eat meat)

Your scenario doesn't make sense. If you could kill the person who killed your parents, then you'd have to know who they were. So why wouldn't you tell the police?

No, I don't think revenge is a just reason to kill.  By the way, the "eye for an eye" line from the bible is not talking about revenge.

Its wrong if you believe in christ. Or the constitution. If not than what is wrong.

If someone killed your family member there are a lot worse things you could do than kill them. I rather be dead than be blind or a paraplegic.

I do not think you have the right to kill someone in revenge.  I do not believe in capital punishment either.  I feel it can let a perpetrator off too easy.

Your question asks about morality, not law.  In morality, only your view matters.  In law, a revenge killing is still murder.

Well let me get this straight first, are you asking for opinions or for someone to agree with you? This is how it works, you ask a questoin, people answer. You DO NOT get to tell them their answer is wrong just because you don't like it. If your asking opinions then as for me I'm on the fence, I do believe the death penalty is necessary in some situations, only some which raises other questions. now make no mistake is my child was  murdered I would want to have revenge.
