I get distracted very easily and when I study I forget what I studied for the very next day. The only way I can truly study without getting bored or distracted is when I listen to loud music on my CD player is that a bad thing? if it is how can I improve my study skills?

  1. If it helps you focus on your work, why is it a problem? I listen to music all day at work and if I don't I work about half as fast because I get distracted.

Might not want to listen to it too loud or you might damage your hearing, but just listening to music shouldn't be a problem.

  2. Listening to music will only make it harder for you to study.

Personally, i do it, and i got on myspace A LOT. But i stay up h**l late and manage to do well in school.

But really, try not to study with music on. You should study in half an hour bursts and make sure that you're eating lots of brain food, fruit ect. By having a break every half hour you're not tiring your brain out.

  3. Listening to music is fine.  There are many different type of learners and some people require music to help them retain information.  You are just doing what works for you.

  4. if it helps then it helps
