  1. there are a lot of unwanted children in the world. adopt of you want.

  2. No, there is nothing wrong with wanting to adopt and we don't even need to know your explanation.  So many families cannot keep their children for one reason or another and adopting families are in demand.

I pray if you adopt, all goes well.

  3. No I want to adopt a 6 year old girl I have really had dreams about this girl it is not wrong to want to adopt a child. There are so many beautiful child that need homes it nice to here that someone else wants to adopt as much as me and your child will be just as beautiful if you had it your self there, so many child you could love and would love you back if you adopt them I have as said I would adopt a child or two if you feel the need to adopt a child you should. Children need homes.

  4. So long as you and your hubby are on the same page, I don't see any conflict.  However, don't expect your parents to be happy about it unless you have medical reasons for not having a biological child, especially if you are an only child.

  5. No.  I didn't want to "have a biological child".

  6. It's great you want to adopt! There are so many children that need and want parents. Good for you. =)

  7. no i dont think so cause tons of ppl have babies that they cant take care of and tons of kids out there need homes.

  8. No I think its great.  A friend of mine had one biological child and because her husband was adopted they decided to adopt there second child.  Good Luck!

  9. Adoption is a very Biblical answer to a huge worldwide problem; unwanted children. I am adopting myself!

  10. Not at all.

  11. No, it is not wrong. I say kudos to you.

It is only wrong if you don't want to adopt but only doing it cause your spouse wants to.

Regret is not a nice thing to live with. So, there is absolutly nothing wrong with wanting to adopt.

  12. No not at all.  Some people just really like the idea of adopting and I think that's great.

  13. No! I think it is a great idea. There are so many kids in foster care these days, that adopting just gives them a chance of a better life!

  14. There is nothing wrong with it. Too many kids need a good, loving home, adoption, even if you are able to have kids of your own, is a great thing to do!

  15. no. some people don't want to go through all the hassle of having a baby and there are already children who need parents in the world.

  16. No, it is definitely not wrong. There are a lot of kids who need good homes, there is nothing wrong with preferring adoption.

  17. it's not wrong, if you're into ripping a kid away from it's mother.

  18. Advertisers would have you believe that it’s wrong. They have the public convinced that the only way to know real joy is to provide a new generation of consumers.

But as far as I’m concerned, it’s far less selfish to provide a home for a child who really needs one than it is to “make a baby” just because you want one…….

  19. I sure don't think so, but I am in that boat.  My husband and I have made the decision that if we have a child, it will be adopted.  He had a vasectomy years ago and would not reverse it.  I don't regret the decision at all (and neither does he!).  There are lots of kids out there that need homes.

  20. It depends on WHY you want to adopt rather than have a bio child, what kind of adoption you're wanting to do, to what lengths you're willing to go to adopt, and whether you're willing to do your research about adoption.

Adoption is complicated. There are all kinds of ethical issues to consider. If you want to adopt just because you don't want the pain of giving birth and pregnancy but you're only willing to consider adopting an infant (who by and large are NOT in desperate need of people willing to adopt them), then honestly, yes, I think that's a bad reason to want to adopt.

If you feel like pregnancy and birth is not for you AND you are willing to adopt an older, hard-to-place child, one who truly won't have a good home without adoption, then I think it's okay.

    So it just depends.

  21. Every child deserves a loving permanent home.  If there are people who can and want to provide that stability for a child but are unable or choose not to go through pregnancy, they should not be considered wrong.

What IS wrong is when adoption involves coercion of any kind by anyone (agency, social worker, AP or BP).

  22. No. why would that be wrong?   you are giving a child who doesnt have a family, a loving, caring home.

  23. I don't think so people hearts are different they can want their own or adopt.

And there is a need to adopt in this world. A major need. Why not try considering yourself blessing others. :)

  24. In the Martin Child it explains it perfectly "I don't want to bring another kid into this world. But how do you argue against loving one that's already here?"  there is nothing wrong with it, it is great that you want to adopt a child.

  25. well no its not wrong because you may not want to go through all that its even good to adopt a kid because then you are helping him out its your choice either way at least you still want a kid
