Is it wrong to skip school for may 1st?

because at my school all the kids say lets ditch that day because of the immagrants so what would you do?

You only get to be a kid once. Now that that is out of the way I am a mom and I try to teach my kids that it is okay to do things now and then for fun as long as you are not hurting yourself or anybody. By that I mean hurting in any way. It should not affect you in the long run. Doing something fun now and then that may get you in trouble is part of life and everybody should try it now and then. Some minor thing like that will be a minor punishment and you will go on to your next adventure. You will learn that not all of life has to be dull. Everybody should learn to stand up for what they believe in and everybody should learn to have fun. A part of my kids schooling is learning to be fun. They do something cool everyday. Have fun

if you're just doing it to get out of school, then no. it's the most stupidest idea ever.

if you actually know the history behind it all and are all in support for it, then yeah sure.

y not?... it can't hurt you... as long as your parents are willing to write you a note saying you were sick or something... and you won't get into trouble... it should be fine... i think there should be a skip day every year... but people have too big of mouths and tell the wrong ppl.... and they shoot off their mouths to the teachers... ans they schedule exams... its dumb!... but yeah... y not?...

No.  It's wrong that you are forced to go at all.  Compulsory attendance takes away the rights of children.
