Is it wrong to take my 4 yr old's BB gun away because he left it out in the rain???

the child shouldn't own a gun if they do not have enough responsability to take proper care of it. a bb gun is a responsability better suited to an older child.

y even have one to begin with?????????? BB guns may be innocent fun but they can lead to some serious health problems such as a damaged eye or even bruises. Think about giving that person some water guns, somthing way safer. But is it wrong? no u are the parent and have all the right to do that if you want to .

no its not wrong. take it for a while and make him earn it back it makes him learn responsibility. and as far as the bb gun thing i dont think thats wrong, cuz im sure your out ther with him. teaching him gun safety this young makes guns not so taboo. kids that accidentally shoot other kids have never been around guns and kids like to mess with things that are taboo and they dont anything about. i think what your doing is good. my daughter will have a bb gun and a paintball gun as soon as shes old enuff to hold one. i dont think that growing kids up around guns promotes violence it promotes gun safety. good job and good luck.
