Is itunes really worth it?

ok i have a xp and i have limewire and i dont have a ipod but ppl say that itunes is good and my friends have both itunes and limewire and if i get itunes im not ganna pay for songs. but is itunes really worth it or just a waste in my computer soace? what is good about it? my limewire freezes when i am listening to a song and on the internet on a site somewhere.

In my personal opinion it is really good. I like it alot better than Zune music place because it has free video's and songs every tuesday, and it has more podcast's. I dislike it for having to pay 99 cents a song when other places are 15 to 45 cents a song. But it is really good if you have a ipod and you are going to file share
