  1. I am a girl who is travelling around Japan at the moment. It is an extremely safe country but it is also very busy. As long as you also stay together you will be fine. All I will say is that you should doible check the area of the plasces you are staying.

I stayed in a place in Osaka (Shin Imamiya). It is the most unsafe I have ever felt and three girls should not be there  alone. PLEASE avoid that area of Osaka. The rest of Osaka is amazing though.

  2. Japan is EXTREMELY safe.  There are occasional incidents but I would guess that you have a better chance of winning the lottery than you do of being mugged in Tokyo wandering the streets alone at 2am.

  3. Japan is the safest country in Asia. For the most part, Japanese are very honest. If you lost your purse, nine times out of ten it would be returned to you with everything still in it.

  4. Just bring your Garmin and you should be fine.

  5. it is TOTALLY SAFE..!!!>.but NEVER EVER GO TO OSAKA.......

reminder it is not safe there..there are MANY YAKUZA there,,.

  6. Japan is very safe as long as you are not looking for trouble. It is an extremely crowded city and lots of people but most are just minding their own business, never had any problems there when i visited a few times with the navy, one of the safer places we ever pulled into. Just like any place in the world it has crime and as long as you are a law abiding person and try not to get too wild down there youll be alright.

  7. Japan isn't dangerous. Don't worry, you and your friends will be fine. Beside, people over there are usually caring and willing to help you if you need any. Make sure you gather important information for your trip over Japan. Here's a site that might provide you some useful informations: http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/. Take care and have fun!

  8. Even in most safest country in the world, there are always many places you'd never go closer or drop in day or night.

Because some danger zones are managed by not only Japanese but also Chinese, Korean and Nigerian maphia who try to look for innocent easy victims from overseas.

Speaking or understanding Japanese is one of good protection or advantage for bad trap.
