Is jason blake a good hockey player on the leafs???

I also love how the Leafs have a very very very (very) bad habit of signing players after ONE breakout season and they end up being deadbeats the year after.

Jason Blake is a good hockey player. Unfortunately last year he was diagnosed with Cancer and was taking treatment all of last year. His production dropped off but we can look forward to a good year this year. He is presently in town and working out with the rest of the team. He was interviewed the other day and seems very upbeat.

Being diagnosed with Cancer of any type is a mind affecting proposition. Always in your mind is that word. Regardless of how hard you try to put it out of your mind it is always there.

I believe Jason's Cancer is now in remission and expect him to respond with a 30-30 season playing with Grabovsky and Hagman on the second line and first power play.

to be honest, i don't think anyone on the leafs is that great. not saying they're the worst, but they're certainly not the best =D

He's a good player, but I don't think he's worth twenty million.  Just like every other playr on the Leafs, we signed after one breakout year without waiting to see if it would last.  I'm not saying that I don't like him, because he's probably the hardest working player on the Leafs.  I just wish we weren't paying him so much.
