Is jelly a solid or a liquid?

in science class we were told that there are three types of substances on this earth there is solis, liquid and gases but where does jelly fit in?

Its a semisolid which means its part solid part liquid and cannot be defined as just a solid or just a liquid cause it has properties of both types

Its a solid as once the particles bond to form a protein lattice it is essentially a solid.
