with the return of josh johnson and anibal sanchez from my dl and the imminent recall of francisco liriano from my minors spot on my roster i will need to drop a pitcher from my roster. i am leaning toward cueto. he is very inconsistent and downright scary at times. but just when i am ready to drop him he has another good game and makes me change my mind. these are my pitchers. we play 7 per week, head to head league

peavy, verlander, nolasco, parra,a sanchez, josh johnson, cueto, brian wilson, salomon torres, scott baker, shawn marcum

IR 2 allowed-wainwright, penny

MINORS- 2 allowed- liriano, price

cueto pitches for the worst team of my pitchers in a hitters park. let me know if i should drop him or if you see somebody else. plus there is always the chance he could be shut down like so many other rookies do. i am currently in first and virtually assured a playoff spot. i am looking for the most help down the stretch and i think johnson and sanchez as well as liriano may provide more wins when i need them the most.

  1. I think Cueto will be a good pitcher in the future

  2. yeah, I'm with you on Cueto, although I'm not sure what Liriano will do when he gets back.   Didn't go so well earlier this year!  And Verlander has been pretty bad this year too, although his whole team struggled for a month or so.   Take your pick.  Good luck.
