  1. Muay Thai would be better for cardio than Jiu Jitsu.

    Striking > Grappling for cardio

  2. yes it will be awesome. and the first guy is sort of wrong. my physicality makes striking way more tiring but that is because I am naturally more prone to grappling, but some people are the opposite. My MMA coach gets more tired after grappling than striking. Which ever you chose you will get what you back what you put out. If you work hard it will work you hard and keep you in shape or get you in to better shape.

  3. I would say so,Plus you may get a few sweet moves out of it. More Benifits

  4. Muay Thai would be a good substitute, I've been fighting Muay Thai for a number of years now and I can run about 10K breaking little sweat. Muay Thai also builds strength, reaction time, and if you learn Ram Muay you build on your balance as well.

Find a Thai Kru(master) with lots of experience, my Muay Thai Kru has been teaching for about 50 years now.

    Hope that helps :]

  5. absolutely. a few rounds on the thai pads will wear you out more than running or jogging. as will grappling.

  6. either would be good.
